Now, however, as residents and naturalized citizens of the United States, those same Iranians are becoming familiar with the world of table lamps lighting. If their residence lacks a ceiling light in the bedroom, then they must go in search of a way to obtain adequate lighting. “Crystal table lamp” ads might appeal to them.
Wide circles of Iranian Americans appreciate the beauty of light shining through an engraved glass. Therefore, they feel drawn to items such as the lighting on the square accent table lamp. Such a lamp can be used on a small chest next to a bed. It can provide a bedroom with a light that is kind to the eyes.
Sometimes, an elderly Iranian who has come to the United States must live in an apartment, one that lacks a ceiling light. In that case, he or she is forced to use either table lamp lighting or a floor lamp.
At least one Iranian American living in Los Angeles has tried floor lamps. He wanted to provide guests with a decent way to read written text at night. However, that same man recently said, “I’ll never buy another floor lamp.”
Has that Iranian American chosen to keep guests out of his home? Has he decided to let in only guests who show no interest in reading, after the sun goes down? Well, he has chosen to entertain primarily those guests that enjoy seeing Iranian movies on a TV or computer screen.
However, that same gentleman has an American wife, one who loves to read. He also has grandchildren, toddlers who love to see an attractive light. For that reason he has turned to an item of table lighting–crystal table lamp.
He found a lamp that has both an open, conventional bulb and a glass encased group of flame shaped bulbs. The mounting on the conventional bulb is designed to hold a lamp shade. Yet it would be hard to find a shade that can rival in beauty the appearance of the engraved glass, once light streams through it, and into the room.
