You can visit your local Wal-Mart and pick up one of the many resin kits that automotive professionals use to repair chips and cracks on windshields. The resin is normally an epoxy or acrylic adhesive filler. However, this will involve some more work on your part, as you will probably need to do some sanding and other surface preparation before and after you apply the resin, so that the affected area will blend in with the rest of the table top when the job is done. Follow the directions on the kit very carefully if you decide to go this route. The good news is that these kits can be bought for as little as $10.

If none of these options will help you repair your chip, and hiding the chip is not an option, you may want to discuss the matter with a glass professional before you go out and replace your glass table top.

• The first major factor is simply due to the process required to install the brick.
